Nothing says it like a big, bright, bold banner with lively colors and a touch of panache. I recently attended the birthday party of a dear friend and like most of her friends was initially clueless as to what would be an appropriate gift for a milestone birthday, especially for someone who has most of the typical “stuff.” The more I thought about my gift giving dilemma the more I began to think about how wonderful it would be to commemorate some of the milestones associated with her life. Initially I thought of a photo collage or album but as I began to get more creative I decided it should be something that could be shared with the rest of the guests and that she would enjoy viewing.
