One of the larger building projects we are working on for a building in downtown Oakland has required lots of design collaboration. While the building has great potential and a prime location downtown, the absence of a cohesive tenant identification sign program and the lack of brand identity left much to be desired from a design perspective. We have worked diligently with the client and have provided several building logo samples. The finalist has already been chosen based on open dialogue between the client and designer. The selected building logo will now be incorporated into the two exterior plaques at the front entrance, as well as on the floor directories and individual tenant identification signs.Additional ADA facilities, stair and evacuation plan signs will be developed in complimentary colors and utilizing the building logo where appropriate. The contrasting style and accent colors will give the building a cohesive and integrated appearance. We hope to complete this project soon and will post pictures shortly.
