For most of the year, I spend much of my time calling or emailing these groups and never being able to put a face with a name. It was a lot of fun running into people I hadn’t seen for a while and others that I had never met before. The FbA does a wonderful job in organizing this gathering, and providing several days packed with information. It was great seeing the entire gang!
This was my third year going, and I always seem to learn something new each time. The overwhelming concern I took away from the convention was the inability of brokers and franchisors alike to receive enough quality leads. My trip home was spent thinking of ways to improve that issue.
Moving forward, my goal for 2012 is to be able to provide a better quality lead to these people.

Last year in early November, I attended the annual Franchise Brokers Association (FBA) convention in Orlando. This is an event, in which brokers and franchisors gather to share ideas and learn from each other about the current state of the franchise industry. It was a tremendous turnout. Groups from all over the country traveled near and far to attend. I particularly enjoy the comrodarie that is there among all of the attendees.
For most of the year, I spend much of my time calling or emailing these groups and never being able to put a face with a name.
