Fort Myers, FL – Peer Landscaping Custom Outdoor McGregor River Project 33901

BY: Your Name, Your Business

Hey guys, welcome back Bailey and Katie with Peer Landscaping today, we’re going to be talking about our job off of McGregor. It was a large renovation that we did. We transplanted a lot of stuff and brought a lot of new plants in as well. Landscaping was only about four years old, but we came in renovated.

It did a custom 3d design for them and executed and did a very good. Um, check it out.

you’re doing a challenge where whoever gets the most rock done by 1130 gets a hundred bucks. And so we’re teaming up to guys and we’re going to hit it and rock and roll. So.

Yeah, it was super fun. I think we easily spent over a hundred. Designing this property between the team and mostly Katie, but, um, we put it in our 3d software and it was just crazy. We even created a, a individual booklet for this project, for the presentation, because there’s, there’s just so much that went on with this and the transformation from where it was to where it is now.

It was a very, um, very long process and very, uh, challenging process to be able to get. All of that information that we were going to do, um, to bring it to where it is now. So thankfully I think we did a really good job of it. Our customers trusted us and understood for the most part of what we were going to do.

And, um, we’re so grateful with the outcome and we’re so happy to be here and, uh, finishing everything up.

this project was honestly quite a beast to design. This house is incredible. And when you’re doing the landscaping, you really want it to compliment the home. But with a home like this, it’s so beautiful and all the beds are so large, um, that we had to really be careful with our selection, because with this many beds, this.

If you do too many different points, selections, you’ll end up with just having a whole nursery on this project. So we really wanted to tie in the colors together and give good contrast without overdoing

it’s been a long process and it’s not easy, but we are always up for a challenge as this is our passion. We love. To do landscaping. We love to design.

Slow down.

Clouds of your regret, beat yourself up. You’ll do it.

All right. If you’ve been by McGregor down towards the Edison home, you have probably seen this job. You’ve probably seen our size. For the last month or so go ahead and check out what we did. We created levels here before it was basically all level threes, a bunch of Bogan Billy that was overgrown and not maintained very well.

We created three different levels, basically when I say levels, I mean Heights and we also added some color and texture. So check out what we did up here. I think it’s definitely a showstopper piece for the front of McGregor

As you guys can see the canopy structure of the older Adda in the red fountain grass purple fountain grass. Um, they have this. Uh, and explode and not really like that. We trying to play off that they’re purple crane, Emilia that we use in the front also has that, uh, structure to the growth. Um, so we wanted to play against these two here showing a nice curve of the purple fountain grass in the back.

And the older Adda kinda is a specimen. And this is just as you’re entering the property. It’s another nice. That is just like, wow, that’s really well thought out. So I love this little detail that we put in on the project. As our clients driving up the driveway up to her home, we wanted to add little points of interest, some pops of color, and just some areas that she can look over and see something beautiful as she’s coming up to her house to do that.

We love these filtered shade. The sun just filters right to the Poinciana tree and gives them just enough sunlight for these plants to thrive. We did the elephant ears in the back, which we love those they’ll get so big and beautiful. And then we did some flax lilies mixed in with some variegate gingers in the back and some purple queen up front.

All together and give some nice color

We use the Mexican beach all the way around the property, just as a good base layer to separate between the mulch and the paper. Um, before our clients had rock throughout their entire beds, this was, it took us at least two days full of just rock removal, just because it was, it was that deep worth of rock.

all rocks all the way through, out here. Super hard service there’s pavers all the way throughout here. A lot of hard stone work. That’s beautiful, but the rocks were just too. So, what we did is basically the opposite of that. We created a soft mulched bed and we put in butterfly plans. So therefore she can interact with the butterflies.

She can walk, watch them and enjoy them as she walks by. And, um, it’s really cool. As we’re starting to get some more blooms, we’re getting more butterflies attracted to the. And, um, it was a really, really fun, fun thing to do. All right. So this is actually one of my favorite spots in the project. This is a nice view that they get when they walk out on their patio.

So we wanted to do something kind of contemporary and. Super lush and beautiful for them to enjoy as they walk out on their patio.

When we come to your house to do a walkthrough with you to get an idea of what we’re looking at to do for a project, don’t forget about your pots that are on your patio. If you have any pots that you would like us to design something for, we can always come up with a little creation. That’s easy to maintain.

Um, our client here loves that. But she didn’t have any drip line irrigation to these two pots. So we went ahead and did succulents cause they’re easy to maintain and you don’t have to water them super often. So irrigation isn’t really needed cause you can just hand water them. So here’s a couple that we did just a little design creation with some different stuff.

I used to thought about this. So you get them in the back on the far corner over there of the patio. Um, this is always just a nice little touch of color that we can add to your landscape.

And this is Bailey doing some yoga out by the water.

yeah. Oh shit. Where the world just floats. All right. So we’re wrapping. Project. This has been insane. The design, the installation ripping everything out and reinstalling it’s been quite a process, but that’s something that we really love about landscaping is just having the absolutely. And I think we also feed off of different and special things.

So if you want a us to install some Palm trees with fan below and a hammock between the two Palm trees. Do you want us to build you a wiffle ball field? I don’t care what it is. We really don’t. We can create you whatever we can dream up. Passion. We do love a good challenge. Passion is that the heart of what we do.

And if you want something other than landscaping, give us a call. We will renovate anything you want, and we will have a good time doing it.
