We here at Top Round, located just north of Rio Vista and south of Victoria Park neighborhoods, pride ourselves on what we do. We love making food and, as a result, our customers end up loving our food as much as we do. We’re most well-known for our roast beef and chicken sandwiches, but we serve other things too, and we do it with just as much love and care. Today, we’re going to tell you about our fries and tater tot choices. Let’s get started.
Top Round’s Fries
We know people love fries. That’s why we work extra hard to make ours great. Each and every batch is made fresh in our kitchens. Speaking of which, we don’t just fry them in regular old oil. No, we think it adds the best flavor when we fry them up in 100% beef fat. We have quite a lot of options too!
Let’s start with the most basic option: curly fries. As we said, these fries are made fresh every day, sliced, curled, and fried. You want some great-tasting curly fries and nothing else? This is the dish for you.
But maybe you’re looking for something a little more cheesy. That’s why we also offer our cheese fries. These bad boys come slathered in our house cheese “wizz.” Like everything else at Top Round, the cheese is housemade too.
We also have gravy fries, which keep it simple but tasty with a gravy of beef drippings and ends. These are the fries you want if you’re looking for something filling but don’t want a full meal.
There’s also our chili cheese fries. We didn’t think any selection of fries would be complete without them. These fries come loaded with 100% beef chili and dripping in our house cheese “wizz.”
Last but not least, there are our “dirty” fries. These are our most loaded fries of the bunch. We cover them in gravy, Provel cheese, caramelized onions, and round sauce.

When it comes to our tater tots, we have two choices for you. We’ve got our regular tater tots for those who want a quick, easy bite. We also have our cheese tots, which are just as good but with a healthy dose of some house cheese “wizz.”
