Making a Dedication Wall out of Glass

Glass is a fantastic medium. It looks fragile but is actually quite durable when you have the right depth. Moreover, it impresses with an elegance that is second to none. Therefore, it is the ideal display option for a focal wall. For the Port Authority, we selected a 3/8-inch thick set of four glass panels. We ensured safety through polished edges and pizzazz with beveling. Each board features a flatbed-printed black subsurface. The information highlights the names of businesses and organizations that participated in the venue’s recent upgrade. To title the dedication wall, we opted for flat-cut lettering that is separate from the glass panels. It is a fantastic option that contributes to the visual aesthetics of the project.

Ideas for Your Very Own Dedication Project

If a glass panel dedication wall in San Diego County is not to your liking, consider that there are other options, too.

• Acrylic. We can use the same flatbed printer technology to create a similar product using acrylic. Keep it clear for an imitation of a glass surface. In contrast, we can paint the material to feature any color you might prefer. By the way, we can also treat this material with an imprinted vinyl overlay.
• Etched metal. Move away from a glass-like presentation to focus on a brushed aluminum surface. It looks excellent in any setting. Most importantly, the etching of the information allows for the inclusion of lettering and images.
• Cast metal. Casting metal is a good choice for a less type-heavy presentation. It is an excellent selection for a plaque that becomes the centerpiece of a wall or atrium.
