You may have read in the paper or online that the sandwich chain Quiznos has hit on hard times. In fact, their numbers were so low that they had to file for bankruptcy back in March. Even though there are reports that they have emerged from bankruptcy and restructured their finances as of July 1, it’s clear that the sandwich chain seems to be doomed, ultimately.
Enter: Jimmy John’s Sandwich Shop
Jimmy John’s sandwich shop is a nationwide franchise that’s growing fast. Recently, we received a call from a franchise owner that had recently bought a Jimmy John’s sandwich shop franchise and was going to be taking over the old Quiznos location. So we were brought in to remove the old Quiznos sign and install a new Jimmy John’s sign.
These outdoor business signs come in all types of material options, mounting options, illumination options and more. For this sign we first removed the existing channel letters. There were three sets that read Quiznos. After we removed these we patched and painted the area and let it dry.
Next we installed new channel letters in the same area. The new channel letters we installed were illuminated LED channel letters that glow bright and attract customers from far away during the day as well as at night. LED illuminated signs are much lower in cost to run than traditional lighted signs. With the decrease in running costs for LED lights, it’s almost a no-brainer to make sure your business sign is illuminated too.
Channel letters are like a great silent salesperson. They don’t need to say anything at all. They just simply get noticed. With attractive graphics, and illumination, if you have a storefront business, you’re almost guaranteed to pull in new customers that pass by your store.
When installing channel letters like this, where you have to perform work on a building’s structure, like with our client Jimmy John’s, you can’t just be any old sign company. You also have to have a C-45 contractor’s license, which allows companies like ours to pull permits.
