We had the great pleasure of working with Sara and her team at celebrateforever.org, a new non-profit located in Newport Beach. They needed a large lobby sign which kick started the project. Visitors are greeting by an open space, rather than a traditional reception area. The seating area is a comfortable configuration in the center of the offices.
Sara has good visual instinct and she wanted the lobby sign installed on the back wall, immediately visible to visitors as they enter the office suite and before they take a seat. This meant it would need to be large enough to read from across the room. We created a 42" round of polished acrylic as the mounting plate with the logo in vinyl with laser cut back-painted acrylic letters. The logo "floats on the wall" because the acrylic is clear, and while large in scope, the sign doesn't overwhelm the surrounding space; rather it compliments the space while reinforcing the brand.
Sara was so pleased with the Lobby sign she enlisted us for three more projects including the logo in vinyl on another wall, their trademark tag lines in frosted glass vinyl lettering on two floor to ceiling mirrors, and a very special sign of their logo which would spin inside a sphere sculpture, centered on the table of their conference room. We also installed a floor to ceiling wall of a map of the world in vinyl.
At Focal Point Signs we refer to these kinds of projects as "On location branding" because the brand is reinforced through multiple signage means. The signage is consistent in representing the brand, and visible throughout the office suite without being over bearing. It is artistic and unique. It is visible on the walls and mirrors. It is uniquely Celebrate Forevers' Brand.
