The Jerry Sue Thorton building at Tri-C in Cleveland, OH has been renovated and renamed. A complete renovation concludes with the placement of signs. These signs will direct visitors and students to classrooms, elevators, restrooms and various areas inside the building. The ATTC (Advanced Training and Technology Center), also at Tri-C, is a newly constructed building in Cleveland. Signs PDQ manufactured and installed the signs needed for both buildings.
Each and every sign installed keeps with the branding of the College. Signage is displayed throughout the building and the Tri-C color , font and logo is key to a unified and professional look. As you approach the building you will notice digital graphics installed upon each door. This is both informative and welcoming while keeping with the branding standards. When you enter both of these buildings we are discussing you immediately know the name of the building you are entering. This is extremely helpful to those students on foot.
Stairs or Elevator: Students and visitors will be looking for their destination. Each stairway level is marked by an ADA Braille sign. These stairway signs identify the level those who opt to walk. Signs PDQ manufactures these ADA Braille signs in house. It is important that these signs are strategically installed per the guidelines of the ADA regulations. There are two stairway sign for each level. One is located by the stairway doors and the other is located in the stairway hall itself. All of the stairway ADA/Braille signs conform to the branding standards of the college.
Directories located by elevators assist in directing visitors to the right location. These way finding signs and the messages they portray are key to a successful way finding signage progra An example of an installed sign is pictured to the left.
