Located at 13806 La Mirada Boulevard, Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center is a city-owned facility. It features a water park for children, a lesson pool, and a 50-meter competition pool. The YMCA and other organizations frequently reserve the venue for swim meets. New Aluminum Building Letters Identify a Popular Water Park

We worked with city officials to design lettering that would match the look of the nearby City Hall. Our team began with a 3/8-inch-thick aluminum sheet. We cut it in the shape of the lettering to identify the facility’s full name as well as street number. Next, we added a dark blue powder-coated finish that allows for a color match with the adjacent government building.

The installation was a bit of a challenge. We brought our bucket van, which allows for façade installations without easy access. However, the water park’s recessed setting took it under a grove of trees. No problem! Our driver is a pro who carefully navigated the vehicle without damaging the trees. As a result, technicians were able to finish the installation as planned.
