Haus of Heir, owned by Cameron Kepford, is a high end hair salon located in Davenport, and is one of the best in the Quad Cities area of Iowa. Cameron opened the new hair salon recently, and wanted to make a dramatic statement with a backlit, dimensional letter, LED building sign that would catch your eye and ‘wow’ passers-by. The grand opening was soon approaching when we got the call from them about needing a building sign, but we were able to jump right on the project and get it installed in time. As you can see in the picture above, a night time shot, the sign really ‘highlights’ their high end salon with the dramatic look they were going for.
But, even during the day, when the sign is not illuminated, the sign has ‘pop’ and really looks great (picture below). The sign is made with cast metal letters (that are backlit with LED lighting), and installed with stand-offs to create dimension, which help to give the sign presence, both day and night.
By backlighting the sign we achieve a halo effect, as opposed to letters that are illuminated from the front. Depending on the type of business, one illumination method might be favorable over another. The best way to know is to get a free consultation from us to find out what your options are for your building, including factors like efficiency and budget.
If you need a backlit LED building sign, or any other type of sign for your business, give us a call!
