Project: Cut Vinyl Lobby Sign

Recently, we made a custom cut vinyl reception sign that was mounted onto a conference room window for Lincoln Electric in Bettendorf, Iowa. You can see an example of the sign in the picture to the left. This lobby sign, while fairly simple to design, print and install, looks great and has a very professional look. These are very affordable signs and a great way to brand your front office, lobby or reception room.
For this project, we used a vinyl material that we custom printed on and then applied directly to the conference room window. If you look closely, you can see the framing around the sign. With the ceiling lights accenting from above, it really helps to give it that professional look. The vinyl that we printed on and applied to the window was a frosted vinyl that is perfect for these types of applications. Frosted vinyl is a great way to provide some privacy to an area with a glass window or glass partitions.
Another example of a common application for frosted window graphics is in the office areas. If you have a business that has glass partitions and separate employee cubicles, adding partial or full frosted window graphics is a great way to create separation without blocking all of the light completely. With traditional cubicles, zero natural light passes throughout the space and creates for a more dark, less inspirational environment. But with clear or glass partitions, combined with a custom window graphic like a frosted affect, we can create a very professional looking cubicle, while also helping to keep the room well lit.
This was our first time working with Lincoln Electric, which we enjoyed very much. They called us because they were moving to a new location and needed some new signs. They are a leader in their industry, and are known as the welding experts, and we highly recommend all of their products. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
