Grasshoppers Guest House, a new client of ours that's located in Le Claire, Iowa, called us because they wanted us to make a new sign for them. Instead of building the entire sign from scratch, like we usually do, this time we worked with our client to come up with a more affordable solution, where we just replaced the sign face panels.
This is a post and panel sign, as they are referred to, for the posts that go into the ground, and the panels that are mounted to them. We designed new graphics and printed them on two new panels, one for the front and one for the back, to replace the old ones. The result is a 'recycled sign' that has been brought back to life.
Sometimes we get calls from people that need a sign as soon as possible. For example, when a new company opens up, or an established company opens up a new location, there's a deadline that needs to be met - to make sure the signs get installed before the business opens. Grasshoppers Guest House needed their signs in time for opening a new building, and weren't quite set on which one of the design proposals that we sent them was their favorite. So we printed and hung a temporary banner while they made their decision. This way they could open up their new building while they made their final decisions about their post and panel sign.
