Client Bio: Located in the Quad Cities, Grace Engineered Products specializes in the manufacture of various safety products. They're the "portal to the world of NFPA 70e compliant products including Graceport, Voltage Indicators, Voltage Detectors, GFCI receptacles and Tempcovers."
In the image above, you can see the outdoor building sign we installed for Grace Engineered Products in Davenport, IA. This is an exterior sign made with dimensional letters mounted to the building face using spacers to really make the sign pop out at you and grab your attention.
Dimensional letters, as their name suggests, add a sense of depth to a sign, and also give it more of a high tech look than a 2 dimensional sign.
We replaced their old sign, which was a flat sign that had grown tired over the years, with a great looking improvement that has a high impact look, yet is affordable as well.
To make a great sign, you need to make sure to include multiple elements and variations in contrast. This is what gives a sign its pop. We added their logo and company colors in the design by printing a gradient and applying it to the acrylic. This technique, which, in this case, was a cost saving measure instead of channel letters, can be used in a variety of applications.
