Spotlight: ID Building & Rack Signs
Some signs, though not very glamorous, are just as important as flashier types of signs. Signs like ID building signs and rack signs serve a functional purpose for businesses like warehouses, manufacturers, storage facilities, office buildings, residential complexes and more.
ID Signs and rack signs are this week’s featured product spotlight, so let’s take a look at a few examples of projects we’ve done over the years.
BUILDING ID SIGNS – Business Park, Quad Cities
We made building signs for River Cities Business Park, a large complex located in the Quad Cities area. You can see an example in the image above. These signs not only help clients, vendors and trucking companies find the correct building, but they also help emergency service vehicles too, perhaps amounting to extra life-saving minutes. These are large, molded letters, which can be made from a variety of materials. A basic font was chosen to make them easy to read from long a distance.
DOCK ID SIGNS
DOCK ID SIGNS – Quad City Fright Services
In the image to the left are dock signs we installed for Quad City Freight Services. They’re located in a business park with several large buildings, each with many doors. With these signs they’ve cut down on trucks going to the wrong building and/or dock door. For the material choice for these signs we selected an .063 aluminum.
RACK SIGNS
RACK SIGNS – TM Logistics, Davenport, IA
We created coroplast rack signs for TM Logistics. You can see an example in the image to the left. They were looking to improve the organization in their building and make things operate more efficiently. They’re a very basic sign that serves a very important part in making their business operate more efficiently, and in an organized manner, which ultimately helps to raise the bottom line. We standardized the sizes of the signs and fonts to help keep a uniform look throughout their facility.
