David S. of Davenport, Iowa wanted to add some boat graphics to his beauty, the Prairie Wind. This was actually the first time that we installed graphics on a boat, so it was an exciting project for us.
Typically when you hear about a first time project you might wonder how great it will turn out. It is only our first time with this specific type of installation, after all. But, what is different about our sign company, versus many others, is we are a part of an organization of sign companies across the United States. We share information and help each other to deliver the best results for our clients every time. And with a little help, and our own expertise from installing countless other types of signs, we were able to achieve a perfect installation on our first time.
For this boat graphics installation the vinyl is actually on the inside of the boat, seen in the image above. We used a strong laminate over the graphics to seal it, and to ensure that it wouldn’t get scratched or peel off if it gets frequently rubbed or bumped by cargo or passengers.
These boat graphics are a great way to give a boat a more custom and personal look. If you're not sure exactly what you want, as was this case on this project, we can with the design as well. For this client we took their general ideas, and crafted a design that they ended up loving. We coordinated the delivery of the boat, the application of the graphics, and the pick up too, all within their busy schedule.
If you need boat graphics, or any other type of sign for your business, give us a call!
