This isn't the first project we've done for Johnson Eyecare. In a past article, we wrote about the dimensional letters we made for Johnson Eyecare that were mounted to the monument sign that displays all the business names in their complex. This time they wanted us to make a lobby sign to greet their clients.
A lot of thought goes into picking the right lobby sign. Obviously, budget is to be considered, but there are other factors that are also important. For example, Johnson Eyecare is a high end optometry clinic, and they are known for some of the most cutting edge technology used in their industry. Previously, they had a lobby sign, but it was basic, and didn't translate their brand to their clients and prospects very well. Johnson Eyecare wanted something “richer” that would reflect their high end services.
To make their lobby sign we used metal faced letters, mounted to the wall. Also included in their lobby sign are vinyl wall graphics that complement the pop that is achieve with lettering that is 3-dimensional. Here you get 2-dimensional wall graphics, paired with 3-dimensional lettering. In all, the metallic letters and wall graphic design tied in well with the whole theme of the office.
