At Riverbend Signworks we strive to push the envelope to provide signs more efficiently, with higher quality materials, and use materials that are eco-friendly. Recently we added one of the first latex printers in the entire Quad Cities area, to our store. You can see, in the image above, an example of our new Latex printer, with our two superstar employees, Lindsey and Jacklyn. There are a lot of advantages to using latex as a printing method. For one, Latex printing more “green” than standard commercial printers. It's also a more flexible method to print. Latex printers allow for printing on a variety of different materials. Another great advantage to printing with a latex printer is that it has a wider format than standard commercial printers. This enables a sign company, like us, to use materials more efficiently. An example of how the extra wide format saves material when printing vehicle graphics and vehicle wraps. It enables us to print graphics that are tall enough to reach the entire height of the vehicle, which, turn, enables us to use one sheet to cover the whole side of a vehicle, which cuts down on wasted material.
