Hi everyone! I’m Juan Carlos with Metamorphosis Construction here in Danville, California. Today, I’m visiting a site where we recently wrapped up this deck’s installation. The decking material that you can see in the video below is made by Trex, which is basically a composite material.
Benefits of Using Trex Decking
The best thing I like about Trex is that it’s pretty low-maintenance, so you really don’t need to worry about painting, staining, or sanding it. Just an occasional water-and-soap is all you need to maintain its beauty and stability for decades.
Also, if you see carefully, you’ll notice that we’ve used a concealed screw system for this deck, which I believe is quite amazing! Since there aren’t any screws on the surface, you can literally walk barefoot on this deck and don’t have to worry about getting pricked by any nail or screw.
Another great thing about the concealed screw system we’ve used here is that you won’t have any screws or nails popping up on your deck, ruining its beauty. So, if you’re looking for a deck that requires low upkeep, I strongly recommend that you go with a composite decking material like the one here made by Trex (refer to the video above).
