Recently, we were contacted by Austin Independent School District to design and fabricate a custom sign for one of their new schools. We designed a double sided, wireless controlled message board school sign that produces over 281 trillion different colors. It comes with a five year parts and on-site labor warranty, and is constructed with long-lasting LED light bulbs, so the school can enjoy their new sign for many years to come without repair or maintenance costs.
In the picture above, you can see the message board school sign has a big color LED screen that can display just about any text or graphics you might want. Just a few of the great ways to utilize this type of message board school sign are: promoting school dances, teacher appreciation days, student recognition and reminding parents that report cards are coming out soon. All of these reminders, messages, announcements and acknowledgments can be programmed and saved on the system and recalled again for use later.
To install this sign we first had a foundation poured and a brick monument structure built with a single steel pole for center-mounting the LED screen. We installed the sign using one of our Elliot 62 ft crane trucks to lift the LED sign faces, which were 450 pounds each. We then welded both sign faces to the steel support pipe. On top of the LED screen is a metal cabinet with lettering that was made using a router, spelling the name of the school (Jaime D. Padron Elementary).
