When a fire is put out, our team is essentially dealing with several different types of losses. One set of damage from the fire, another from its heat, another from the related soot, and then another from whatever was used to extinguish the flames. Our technicians will need to use a variety of power tools to remove charred, or soiled materials such as drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc. In order to restore the air-quality of the dwelling our team will place air-scrubbers in the affected areas. If necessary, drying and deodorizing equipment will be placed as well. In large fires, mitigation can often take 1-2 weeks of work to get things removed, cleaned, dry and odor free so that repairs can begin. Our team can then refer you to local and trusted general contractors who can assist from there.
