Restaurant Signs for New Store

Posted in: Industry News

If you get a chance to drive by the new Sonic Restaurant on Roosevelt Rd. in Villa Park, IL, take a look at all the spectacular signage. The Sign Authority in Wheaton, has had the opportunity to work with the Sonic franchise on several occasions installing and manufacturing signs for their various locations. Sonic, which has primarily been seen in the southern states, has been opening more and more locations in the Midwest. This location in particular is one of their newer concepts and something for everyone.  First, there is the  “old fashion” drive in for those customers who like the nostalgic atmosphere of eating in their cars, served by a car hop. There is also a drive through window for those customers that are on the go. And for those customers that would like to relax, there is an eat-in dining room complete with a cozy fireplace and wifi. This simple cut vinyl sign on max metal looks great, and gives the customers information at the same time.  This custom sign is made of black cut vinyl on max metal.

For the first few weeks on their grand opening traffic control was an issue due to the crowed parking lot. Plastic sidewalk signs were a great help keeping the customers from driving into the wrong location. Plasticade a-frame signs with cut vinyl lettering made a cost effective wayfinding sign that can be changed out with a different message in the future.
