Custom Interior Dimensional Logo, Glen Ellyn, IL for YMCA

The Sign Authority in Wheaton, IL just completed a huge rebranding project for the YMCA in Glen Ellyn, IL. The YMCA has been working on their rebranding effort since 2010, and you can read more about it on their website by clicking here.

Beginning on November 13, 2015, The Sign Authority of Wheaton, IL began posting a series of blogs, detailing the various signage we’ve created to help the YMCA in their rebranding efforts at their Glen Ellyn location. This was a big job that required new signs to be designed, produced, and installed, both inside their building and out, and we’re proud to share it with you both here on our CityScoop blog and on our main business blog. Corporate branding guidelines can be very complex, and shifts in these guidelines (or a complete overall, in this case) can be a very stressful and time consuming process for managers and franchisees. In this installment of the blog series, we are featuring custom acrylic dimensional logos we designed for the pool area of the YMCA. These large logos were fabricated from sturdy 1/2″ thick flat cut acrylic. The custom cut acrylic shapes were made from white acrylic, which was then stud mounted to a concrete wall, painted in YMCA’s signature logo blue color. These dramatic signs create a whole new look for the pool area as soon as guests walk in the door.

Our custom acrylic signs are perfect for indoor use and come in an unlimited array of colors, which we can match exactly to your company’s logo colors. The acrylic can also be laminated with textured metallic finishes, such as brushed aluminum and gold, mimicking the look of much pricier dimensional lettering options.
