Corporate Rebranding I in Glen Ellyn, IL for YMCA

The Sign Authority in Wheaton, IL just completed a huge rebranding project for YMCA in Glen Ellyn, IL. The YMCA has been working on their rebranding effort since 2010, and you can read more about it on their website by clicking here.

Corporate branding guidelines can be very complex, and shifts in these guidelines (or a complete overall, in this case) can be a very stressful and time consuming process for managers and franchisees. Luckily, The Sign Authority is experienced in helping companies and organizations solidify and build their brand identities through exciting signage like we’ve done here for the YMCA.

This was a big job that required new signs to be designed, produced, and installed, both inside and out, and we’re proud to share it with you both here on CityScoop and on our main business blog. In this blog, we are featuring an acrylic wall logo and lettering that we installed at the YMCA’s Aquatic Center. The logo and lettering are custom cut from 1/2″ thick white acrylic. At the base of the stairs, we installed a less expensive version on another wall, made from cut vinyl. The cut vinyl wall lettering is a catchy but economic companion to the matching flat cut acrylic sign.

Our custom acrylic signs are perfect for indoor use and come in an unlimited array of colors, which we can match exactly to your company’s logo colors. The acrylic can also be laminated with textured metallic finishes, such as brushed aluminum and gold, mimicking the look of much pricier dimensional lettering options.
