The Rolling Meadows Shopping Center was in need of a series of signs to advertise a store that is for lease. The order called for a large sign for the front of the building as well as several smaller signs to scatter across the area.

First, we decided that the storefront sign would best be printed on an aluminum PVC composite and treated with special outdoor laminate. This lightweight and durable material resists scratching and denting, making it a perfect choice for exterior signs. The specialty laminate offering a high level of UV protection as well as protection from moisture and abrasion.

The other types of signs were ground level MDO signs. We choice this material for its durability; it can stand up to the hazards of the everyday weather conditions, but also an inexpensive option. One sign was mounted on wooden posts with two single sided prints on either side. The other sign was constructed in a V-shape so it can be seen from two specific angles. Building on the durability of the MDO, the material was primed and treated with a gloss laminate. This will ensure the sign will not be harmed by any graffiti or accidental markings.
