Wash your car For best outcomes, wash with soaps: do not rinse or any specific, PH neutral (mild) cleaner two-weekly to prevent over contamination. To prevent streaking and water scattering, avoid washing in direct sunlight. To stop cross-contamination, wash down from above and remove the dirtiest bits. To avoid cross-contamination, use separate soap and sponge / cap and towel for spokes. Your car is drying 1. Always dry and never let “air” dry again and again. Tap water contains minerals which can leave water deposits on your paint. 2. Use only quality towels to ensure the best results and avoid vigorous drying, so that the fabric naturally absorbs the heat. You could invest in an automotive dryer blower even better.
Never use violence to clean or eliminate contamination of the ground with offensive goods. Do not use excessive force to cover marks. To prevent temporary staining or hardening on the surface bird droppings, tar, sap etc should be removed as rapidly as possible. Each stain left by the falls will dissolve over a couple of days without affecting the coating. Do not wax or add any other protective layer on top of the existing coating after washing. It is wasteful and the wax does not adhere to the sheet.
Why is Ceramic Coatings’ proper care important?
You probably have a pretty clear picture of how ceramic coatings work if you watched the video mentioned above. Automotive ceramic coatings are car care and paint coating materials designed to penetrate the transparent coat of your vehicle deeply through microscopic imperfections. These retain a hardness of 9H as these heal, which makes it much thicker than the strongest clear coat. For those who may be confused about the entire 9H deal, here’s the lowdown.
Contrary to the popular myth – the Mohs hardness scale does NOT apply to 9H on a paint protective coating. If that was the case, then with a dried-out version of the product you could scratch the glass. The hardness of protective coatings is factored from the scale of pencils–a variation of the scale of OG Mohs. The highest rating of this scale is 9H, but it is about 6H on the Mohs mineral hardness scale. It basically means that the protective surface is not scratched by a pencil with a 9H hardness rating. So it is very important to maintain the ceramic coating, if you would like it to last a long time.
