These are not your grandfather’s banners

Posted in: Uncategorized

Those of you who visited Vancouver during the Olympics couldn’t help but notice the impressive banners hanging from many of our downtown buildings.  The largest of which spanned more than 30 stories on the Royal Bank Building.

Most people tend to think of banners as inexpensive forms of signage that are used for temporary purposes or for those who can’t afford something more permanent.  While that might be the case for some banner purchasers, the advent of digital printing has turned this premise on it’s head.

Banners can be 10 feet or more wide and have dazzling digital images.   They can make great backdrops for tradeshows or golf tournaments.  Unlike traditional signs they are easily moved and can be used over and over again.

You imagination is the only limitation when it comes to design.  New technology allows for brilliant colour and image reproduction regardless of size.

But despite these advances banners remain an economical solution relative to other types of signage.  Nothing else offers the combination of value, style and mobility than the new banner. Next time you need signage for an event think outside the box.  Rather then getting that simple cut vinyl banner you’ve used in the past,  try for something that will really get your prospect’s attention.
