Truck wraps – Design does matter!

Posted in: Uncategorized

Partial Wrap

Rocky Point Kayak has been in operation since 2000 and specializes in kayak rentals, lessons and tours.  Over the years they have expanded and evolved to become one of the premier destinations in Vancouver for kayaking.

Owner Jamie Cuthbert is a smart businessman and recognized the potential advertising truck wraps offer.  He also realized that great design doesn’t mean you have to have a full wrap to be effective.  In fact when I meet with clients who are on a tight budget, I often recommend that they reduce the size of their wrap and put more of their budget into a professional design.

The advantage of a partial wrap is that it has much of the colour and design of a full wrap but when combined with cut letters keeps the cost down.  At anywhere from 1/2 to 2/3 the price of a full wrap this a great way to get your message out.

The objective when designing a partial truck wrap is to use the wrap material to draw attention to your vehicle but use less expensive materials for more mundane details such as your phone number or web address.
