Signage Questions | Do I need to come to your showroom?

The quick answer is no but with a caveat.

For any permanent sign it’s important that we come to your place of business.  The obvious reason is that we’ll need to get precise measurements for your sign sign and the only place we can do that is at your business.  Beyond that we’ll need to see where the sign is being mounted and if electrical elements are involved how we will make those connections.

The less obvious reason is also the most important.  We want your sign to be as effective as possible and that means taking into account the shape and colours of your building as well as the signs and colours on adjacent businesses.

Take for example a business who’s two neighbours have black on yellow signs.  Separately they will do a great job of catching the eye of passers by.   If you put a yellow on black sign between theirs it’s likely the all three of your will fail to get your message across.

At the beginning of this article I mentioned that you didn’t need to come to our showroom and that’s true.  The caveat is that you may want to come to our showroom!  We have the best showroom in town with many great examples of colours, styles and materials.  Sometimes a quick visit will help you choose a better sign.
