Women’s Introduction to Handgun

This introductory course is created for the absolute novice to any firearm training. These 4 hours are split into 3 hours of classroom time and 1 hour range time. In the classroom you will learn the fundamentlas of handling and operating firearms and then get to practice your new skills with live-fire drills on the range.

Learning topics in this class include universal firearm safety, different handgun types, safe storage, safe functioning, how to do a safety check, and how to load and unload a handgun.

Women’s Basic Handgun

The next step for ladies shooting at the range is the basic handgun class. This class builds on the fundamentals learned in the beginning course and focuses on applying these to better your marksmanship. This class is split time on the range and in the simulation room to help your accuracy and overall shooting composure.

Learning topics in this class include proper shooting stance, grip, aiming, and trigger pressing. By the end of this class you will be able to have accurate single shots on the range. Your marksmanship will be so good that you will be able to shoot a playing card in half.

Women’s Intermediate Handgun

Continuing in your improvement as a shooter is our intermediate handgun course. This class is what takes your beginning shooting to the next level. This class is almost taught exclusively on the range. By the end of this course we are confident you will be able to continue your pistol training individually to focus on the aspect that mosts interests you whether that’s recreation, competition, or defense.

Learning targets in this class include improving your marksmanship, shooting accurate multiple shots, trigger reset for faster follow up shots, recoil management, and advanced trigger control.

Women’s Practical Pistol

The last ladies only class we offer takes all the fundamentals and skills you’ve learned in the rest of the course and puts them into practical use. It is a significant step up from the base level classes beforehand. With the majority of this class being taught on the range you are sure to nail down these skills.

Learning targets in this class include drawing your handgun from a over the waist band holster, handling malfunctions, speed reloading, and presentation to first shot.
