Mesa AZ – We Offer Concealed Carry Shooting Classes at Our Tempe Based Gun Range

With the threat of gun violence and other self-defense needs on the rise these days, more and more of our customers are wanting to become concealed carry weapon certified. While we are unable to officially certify anyone with a CCW permit, at our indoor gun range we offer 3 high quality classes that will not only get you ready to submit your application to the Department of Safety, but continue to support you throughout your CCW lifestyle.

Basic Concealed Carry Weapon

This first class in our CCW class is a 4-hour classroom course specifically designed to help those who are seeking to apply for their CCW permit with the Arizona Department of Safety.

In this class you will work with an NRA certified instructor with expert knowledge in the field of firearms and the CCW lifestyle to make sure that you are 100% ready to submit your permit application. The objects of this course include introducing the basics of firearm safety and ownership responsibilities, knowing about CCW interaction and rights with law enforcement, and understanding your rights and actions in violent encounters and the aftermath you may have to deal with.

In this class we also talk about Arizona specific use of force and the laws surrounding forceful self-defense. This includes tactics and rights surrounding personal protection and the self-defense statues in our state. Students leave this class with all the information they need to confidently and successfully submit their CCW permit application to the DPS.

Concealed Carry Weapon

The second class in our CCW series is also 4 hours and a non-shooting learning environment designed for any student that wants to learn more about the realities of a CCW lifestyle. You do not need to be CCW certified to participate in this course, but we do recommend this as a subsequent course to our basics class.

In this class, instructors cover the details of the Legal Use of Lethal Force and the importance and necessity of developing of a personal and home protection plan. Students will get to experience our state-of-the-art simulator to practice shoot/no shoot scenarios. We discuss the gear and equipment needed for personal and home protection as well as alternative items and methods for non-lethal self-defense.

Every Day Carry Principles

Our last CCW course is specifically meant for those who are CCW certified and is an absolute must no matter your experience or length of certification. This class is an interactive, completely range-based class for CCW carriers to be able to learn and practice the best carry practices for their chosen weapon.

Topics covered in this class include knowing how to defend, retrieve, and shoot their weapon should the time come, basic & advanced draw stroke techniques, ambidextrous pistol operations, malfunctions and reloads, shot placement, the mindset & realities of a gun fight, and an introduction to shooter movement.

This class is catered to anyone who is CCW certified no matter your shooting experience. Everyone can learn something new in this class and leave with a higher standard of shooting performance.
