Mondays are Ladies Only Shooting nights at C2 Tactical! In addition to absolutely FREE RANGE TIME all day on Monday for women, we also offer ladies only shooting classes throughout the week meant to advance both offensive and defensive skills around the firearms.

Ladies shooting is one of the most important classes that we offer at C2 Tactical. We understand that women self-defense is a necessary skill today. Simply having the knowledge to be able to confidently arm and defend themselves can make many women feel safer when going about their day-to-day lives. Also, we know it can be intimidating to shoot around men, especially as we focus on women safety and necessity of defense mainly against men. Ladies only shooting classes creates a safe space for women to grow their skills and feel more confident in their firearm and shooting abilities.

Joining a ladies only gun shooting class will help you find a community within the shooting community that may have been hidden otherwise. These classes are specifically geared towards women shooters and women who want to learn how to shoot. There are absolutely no expectations of previous knowledge or skill level. There is an immense amount of support and comradery between women shooters, and they find these classes to express that. And you have plenty of options to choose from, each one designed for different skill levels and meant to advance your abilities while building a community.

Our first class, the women’s basic pistol course, is designed for the beginning shooter. In this course, women learn the fundamentals around handguns and their safe and accurate operation. Specifically, this course focuses on handgun safety with topics like unloading and loading a semi-automatic pistol, breath control, stance, and follow-through. After that, the class moves into applying those fundamental skills into practice on the range. This course teaches women to be able to shoot consistent groupings at 10-18ft.

The follow up class moves to intermediate pistol operation and handling. This class is specifically designed around the fundamentals learned in the previous class to make sure that the skills are buildable, and the students can advance easily. This course continues to dive into more details about specific firearms like the differences between semi-automatic pistols and revolvers. In the end, students are introduced to holsters for concealed and carry and establishing boundaries by using the color codes of awareness.

The final women-only shooting class we offer is the women’s defensive pistol. It is geared towards those who want to learn more about defensive shooting. This course builds on the fundamental defensive mindset of Avoid, Escape, and Defend to help teach how to be a responsibly armed female. Students also learn about the justifiable use of force in self-defense situations and how to approach conflict if they ever confronted and need to defend themselves. Women in this class will understand shooting from a high compressed ready position and multiple different loading and reloading methods.
