Gilbert, AZ – Gun Range in Maricopa County Offers Concealed Carry Classes

Our shooting range at C2 Tactical offers 3 classes focused on the fundamental aspects of conceal and carry licensure. These classes are meant for any level of shooter who want to be able to learn everything they need to know to get licensed after the first application to the Department of Public Safety. We offer a class on the basics of conceal and carry, every day principles, and lessons of judgmental shooting in the home to ensure that students have all the knowledge they need to be successful in this lifestyle.

The concealed carry basics class typically runs for about four hours and will cover all of the information needed to be able to apply for licensure. It is important to note that completing this class does not mean you are certified for concealed carry, but it does make the application and approval process easier and less stressful.

The instructors for this course, as with our others, are highly experienced in the instruction of firearms. They provide personalized guidance in these classes to help you understand everything you need to know for the CCW lifestyle. Additionally, many of them have experience working with law enforcement agencies and can apply that knowledge to make this class unique. With that specific experience, our instructors can help students understand how to navigate law enforcement situations and conflict aftermath so they can be confident when confronted. This is knowledge that is very hard to find elsewhere and makes our class unique.

The subsequent class is our everyday carry (EDC) principles class. This is an absolute must for all CCW people no matter their length of experience or shooting skill. It is an interactive course meant to teach shooters best practices for carrying their chosen firearm, knowing how to defend it, retrieve it, and shoot it should the situation require. The best part of this course is it takes place completely in the range as it is meant to help shooters develop their skills to perform at a higher level. You must have a valid CCW permit before completing this course.

The final class we offer for shooters who choose to conceal and carry is the judgmental shooting in the home. This class is all about learning how to navigate situations and learn to determine the best actions to take. It is meant to give shooters the contextual understanding of how to determine if something is a threat and understand foreground and background should shooting be required. The scenarios our instructors provide you with are meant to mimick what could possibly happen near or in a home so that should they ever unfortunately occur, it’s best to be prepared and trained.

All of our concealed and carry classes have flexible scheduling to be able to meet your needs. They are catered to shooters and learners of all levels.
