Tampa,FL- Assorted Business Interior Lobby, Workplace Signs

Posted in: Industry News

Interior business signs vary widely in size, style and purpose. Over the many years of providing signs throughout the Tampa Bay area, Premier Signs of Tampa has created and installed hundreds of interior business signs, hanging from ceilings, walls and even adhered to some floors. The bulk of them, of course, bear the name or logos of their many clients. Others, really serve to function in different capacities, such as employee recognition, inspiration, and more practical purposes like scheduling.

All of these signs are important to your business, whether hanging prominently in the lobby or reception, or on the wall in the employee break room. Every sign should be of a quality material and design, be legible and the right size for the wall space allotted. This is where partnering with an experienced sign team really comes in to play. They can guide you to the right quality sign for your interior space with plenty of options to choose from, especially when you are looking beyond your logo sign.

A popular medium for interior business signs is acrylic. The wide range of sizes, colors and thicknesses, really makes this a great choice. Even simple acrylic text can make a stunning statement behind a reception desk to welcome visitors. Two great examples are recent installations at the Guldmann office in Tampa and The Marketplace in Wesley Chapel. Along with their logo signs, they also wanted to display their company motto to welcome and inspire all who entered the lobby. Large, dark letters are not only a perfect compliment to the spaces, filling otherwise bare walls, but evoke the pride their companies have. The mottos, “Time to Care” and “Together We Thrive”  are done in simple acrylic letters yet really make an impression.

Other popular signs include directories, restroom signs, exit signs and many other directional signs. There are signs however that are not seen by visitors, but are necessary for the workplace or meant as morale boosters for the employees. A popular sign medium for these signs is an aluminum composite that is strong and durable, yet much more lightweight than an all metal sign. It can be painted or mounted with a digital print, so it is very versatile. Two clients of Premier Signs of Tampa had need of just such signs. Refresco Company needed a dry erase board to help with day to day workings in their factory, while Vantagepoint, a communications company, wanted one to encourage their employees so they hung their large inspirational board in the lounge.

These are just two more examples of signs in the workplace area, that are not strictly for branding or directional purposes, don’t limit yourself and your company. Signs can do much more.
