Tampa, FL- Metal, Coroplast Outdoor Business Property, Site Signs

Posted in: Industry News

Moving, selling, or expanding your business or property? Having a Grand Opening or an ownership change? These situations are only some examples of events that need to be advertised, and where a property or site sign is a must. If you are among the many business or property owners in the Tampa Bay area, a real estate agent or other company representing them, you need quality signs on site.

Premier Signs of Tampa has vast experience working with many clients all throughout the Tampa Bay area. They have the experience to guide you, too, to the correct outdoor signage to fit your needs. Site and property sign materials vary, but there are some most commonly used. The materials are aluminum, aluminum backed, and coroplast. They are all lightweight and outdoor friendly. Metal signs with vinyl or reflective vinyl lettering are the most durable, which is why you will see them used for street and traffic signs. They can also be included in stone monuments or framed in for a more up scale sign. Coroplast signs may be less long lasting but are also more cost effective, making it the material of choice for more “temporary” signs.

A perfect example of the right use of a coroplast sign is the new sign installed at Kroslak Bakery Equipment Company. They are repeat customers of Premier Signs and they are moving in order to expand their business. The new sign serves a dual purpose, announcing their new location and making it known that their current location is up for sale. They chose to use the coroplast sign to temporarily cover their original aluminum backed sign. It is positioned at the corner of their lot, visible to the busy side of the street.

Two other “V” shaped aluminum backed signs recently went up, one is in New Port Richey at an existing commercial shopping center. This one was installed on the three poles in the middle of the grassy easement by the street. The second at another location in Pasco County, advertising an upcoming shopping center location and its advance leasing opportunity. In each case, optimum viewing from both sides was considered, but also height restrictions per city and county codes. Outdoor pole installations make adhering to specific codes much more manageable.

Single signs, like this medical office leasing sign fill the bill when the majority of the viewing comes from one side, space is limited, or even in the case of private property where it would usually be viewed at closer range. No matter the placement or size of the outdoor sign, it is extremely important that you use high contrasting colors, numbers and symbols to communicate the needs your sign expresses. Simplicity of text and color scheme ensures that your sign will be legible and effective.

Premier Signs client’s outdoor metal and coroplast signs range from reserved parking spaces and rental properties, to residential neighborhood entrance signs. They can be found all throughout Tampa Bay.
