Leppert-Nutmeg, a local company specializing in electric motors and generators, has been serving Bloomfield and the surrounding areas for over half a century. Their business featured a large, rectangular sign and it was beginning to show its age, fading and beginning to peel after over a decade of sun exposure.

The company owners weren’t seeking a total overhaul of their branding, instead choosing to replace the existing sign with a new, fresh sign, featuring a similar design but adding the company’s accreditations to help them convey their professional approach to potential clients.

In addition, the company’s 60th anniversary was coming up and they wanted the new sign to be in place before their celebration.

The Solution: Partnering with a Local Sign Expert

Our company was proud to take on this project for a great company located here in our area. We love working with local businesses to help them expand their brands and present themselves as well as possible, and this project was a perfect partnership.

Since the project had a tight deadline, time was of the essence and we began planning right away. Because of the deadline, working with a local company was essential because we have the ability to design, produce and install all in-house, allowing for the fastest possible turnaround time.

The new sign would be a direct replacement to the original, but with a couple aesthetic improvements. The sign itself is made from aluminum, and it features a retainer frame which covers the mounting hardware for a professional and sleek look.

Once the sign design was approved, our team began the manufacturing process and worked with Leppert-Nutmeg to determine the ideal time for the sign to be installed. It’s always our goal to work with the client to ensure their business is not interrupted during the installation process. Through effective planning, we were able to get the sign up well before their anniversary celebration and with minimal disruption to their business operations.
