Exterior Illuminated Channel Letter Sign

PS Dental’s goal was to brand their location in the most visible way possible, and there is no better way to do so than through an illuminated channel letter sign.

These signs provide a dimensional look which is naturally eye-catching and their ability to be illuminated from the inside provides maximum visibility day or night. These unique and completely custom made signs are made from individual lightboxes usually representing one letter or one element of a company’s logo. The lightboxes are typically pieces of high-grade aluminum on the side with a piece of translucent material like acrylic on top crafted into individual letters. Inside each box is a bright LED light which can shine through the acrylic material and light up the top layer.

These individual lightboxes are placed next to each other to create the full channel letter sign.

The mounting of channel letter signs is a bit tricky, but G-Force has years of experience making these signs look perfect and has the know-how to choose the best method of installation. The tricky part comes from the need for power to illuminate each letter, and the availability of power is different in every building. In some cases, a single metal or steel bar called a “raceway” can be used. Each sign is mounted to the raceway and power runs through the bar to each letter so they can all be illuminated. This method is best for buildings with limited power access because it only requires one power source for the whole sign.

Alternatively, if power is accessible in the building, each letter can be mounted directly to the side of the building with the power connected inside to each part of the sign.
