The Patron: The Dough Box

When the
Dough Box found itself two weeks away from a big photoshoot and without their desired graphics on their 16-foot white trailer, there was only one company that could match their own dedication and service with quick, quality care and design: Palladium Signs.

As a relatively new Nashville addition, the Dough Box prides itself on serving people through their passion for food — in this case, authentic Italian pizzas. With an 850 degree wood-fired pizza oven imported from Naples, Italy, this husband and wife team’s food truck hits the art fairs, wine festivals, and will even cater your next event.

To promote their product on social media, the Dough Box wanted to showcase a new custom-designed trailer to rival their own custom-made pizzas. Fortunately, Palladium Signs didn’t simply meet expectations — they exceeded them.

The Process

Although the normal installation process for vehicle wraps usually requires about two weeks, the Dough Box only had 10 days to spare. The Dough Box came to Palladium with just their logo — a clean and simple hand-drawn pizza paddle intended to feel hand-made, just like their pizzas. Needing a design to match their logo, Palladium decided to make the entire thing look and feel like a chalkboard, with chalk-like text and the hint of chalk dust distributed sparingly throughout.

To create the chalkboard feel, Palladium ordered a custom matte laminate finish instead of the gloss finish usually seen on food trucks and trailers. Further, the trailer’s ordering window also required a chalkboard film so that the Dough Box could write their flexible menu items on the trailer itself. With the ordering of custom parts and the painting of the roof, Palladium was left with just 24 hours before the big photoshoot.

The Product: Food Truck Matte Wrap

Most impressively, the quick production and installation didn’t diminish the quality in the design — far from it. Instead, the Dough Box gained an elegant, clean design with logos on the front, back, and sides. With a Dough Box custom pizza emblazoned by the ordering window, a chalkboard reveals the 6 pizzas the Dough Box will be offering that day.

The Dough Box cares about serving you through its passion of pizza. Palladium Signs wants to serve you and your company with that same kind of passion. Let Palladium Signs join you today to assist you with your individual needs.
