Tempra Insurance: Signs for the Night

Posted in: Industry News

Two vinyl signs help Nashville insurance company welcome visitors at all hours

  • Products: A custom business sign and an illuminated cabinet sign
  • Location: Nashville, TN
  • Client: Tempra Insurance

The Signs Tempra Insurance Needed

Tempra Insurance, an independent insurance broker based in Nashville, needed to fix two sign problems:

  1. tempra-insurance-signTheir front-facing sign, left from a previous tenant needed replaced. The sign was actually from another insurance company’s sign!
  2. They had a temporary banner in the back of their space, which was not passing codes. They needed a permanent banner that would tell people about their business.

The Products: Two Cost-Efficient Signs

Tempra needed those two signs, and Palladium Signs helped them get those signs in a cost-efficient and timely manner. Here’s exactly what they made, along with the process below:

1. A Custom Business Sign. This was a 4×8 PVC panel, which was cut out of vinyl. The point of this sign was showed people coming to the back of their building that they were at the right place. Most importantly, though, Palladium made out of reflective vinyl their name and phone number so that customers could read the signs at night. That’s what’s unique about reflective vinyl signs.

2. An Illuminated Cabinet Sign. Palladium replaced the original tenant’s sign in the front of the building, which was painted onto the surface of an illuminated surface. They replaced it with cut vinyl after cleaning off the original sign. This was a refurbishing job which may have saved Tempra hundreds of dollars because Palladium used the existing front panel, instead of starting from scratch.Palladium delivered a new design made out of freshly cut vinyl for a fraction of the regular cost.

The Process: Fast and Excellent

The process started with design. Palladium made professional suggestions on how to maximize the impact of the sign (i.e., reflective vinyl and an attractive color scheme). Then, they cut vinyl and laid it out by hand. After that Palladium took the framework back to the studio to lay the new vinyl. Finally, they reinstalled the new sign. Altogether, from initial design to final installation, this project took only a week and a half.
