At about 4am, a big-rig driver was involved in a traffic accident and then lost control of his truck.  His gas tank subsequently ruptured causing a huge fire.

It was estimated that 60-70 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled onto the freeway and officials are busy trying to clean up the spill and reopen the freeway lanes.

Luckily, the driver of the big-rig was able to remove himslef from his truck and suffered only minor injuries.
