San Leandro, CA – Skate Shop News: Stars Emerge From Emerica’s “Emerge” Video

Posted in: Videos

Emerica has a long history of pumping out amazing footage, solid products, and truly legendary skateboarders. Emerica is well known for the quality of their videos, Yellow (1997), This Is Skateboarding (2003), Kids in Emerica (2005), Stay Gold (2010), MADE: Chapter One (2013), and MADE: Chapter Two (2016) and the list keeps going.

Emerica just released “Emerge”, and through this action packed video is the emergence of their next line of future legends.

“Matisse Banc and Jordan Powell start the show, shutting down sets before Braden Hoban solidifies his status as one of the best rail skaters out” says the description of the recently released video. Introducing us the their “Young Emericans” we get a glimpse at the future of Emerica’s skate team, and let me tell you folks, the future looks bright!

The action kicks off from the gate with classy B roll and saucy film effects, then the hammers start to drop. One after another! Matisse shows off his ability to withstand the grit of a spot and still huck whatever he feels like. Jordan Powell lays down buttery smooth style with ninja like quickness and breaks spots off with power and grace. We close out the show with a display of rail mastery few have ever seen… Huge sets get demolished and Braden Hoban takes each rail the distance leaving not a spare inch to be skated. Braden serves a heaping helping of power, guts, skill and tech as he slashes through spot after spot mixing old school with new school and blending up a smooth part that is impossible to take your eyes from…

Great video guys, we can’t wait to see more of all of you!
