Mark Suciu was born August 3, 1992 in Saratoga, CA. He is currently an American professional skateboarder for companies such as Adidas, Habitat, Spitfire Wheels, Thunder Trucks, RVCA, Jessup Grip and Atlas Skateshop. 

Despite being one of the most talented skateboarders on the planet and having some of the highest top notch sponsors backing that amazing skating, Mark Suciu has never won Thrasher Mags Skater Of The Year… Mark has made some serious runs for it, some say deserving runs in past years, but has never clinched the title. For almost the last decade his name has graced the list, usually very near the top for Skater Of The Year, but year after year has always just missed the “Mark”. This just might be the year to change it all.

Most skaters will save their most outlandish tricks, heaviest slams and mind melting NBD’s for one final push near the end of the year to imprint their status in the voting booths for Skater Of The Year. Some skaters may drop a part with a Thrasher Cover attached, maybe a big contest win to prelude a historical video part, possibly an NBD that is so undeniable that it is almost a guarantee for them to hold the crown.

Well, Mark just dropped 3 of them. 3 Video parts within the last 4 weeks. WHO DOES THAT?? Mark Suciu does that. 3 video parts that by themselves could spring Marks name to the top of most skaters voting lists. 3 parts for 3 top brands that demand top notch everything, these aren’t your throwaway shop parts or cameo tricks. Mark has not been playing around this year. The amount of work that went into each of his parts is mind boggling.
