San Leandro, CA – Skate Industry News: King Of MACBA Returns To Crown Another

For any skateboarder, Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, better knows as MACBA is like a sacred place where they need to visit at least once as a pilgrimage and skate their worships out.
The fourth series of MACBA Life‘s annual plaza competition, ‘King Of MACBA,’ was announced last weekend with a list of confirmed skaters that will have you reaching for the paella: Tiago Lemos; Marek Zaprazny; Adriel Parmisano; Trent McClung; “Stewie” Petar Stantchev; and last year’s second-place winner Gabriel Fortunato, just to name a few. (The one notable exception is Gustav Tonneson, the Sour Pro who has been dominating the contest over the years… heavy is the crown?) King Of MACBA 4—sponsored by Monster and Volcom—kicks off at the world-famous spot. Reports Berrics.com
KING OF MACBA 4 has new rules, new skaters but the same place, comprised of gnarly skaters.
Gabriel Fortunato and Eniz Fazliov headlined the first contest of the year as they are one of the prolific skaters in the lineup. There will be a lot of eyes on the newly improved KING OF MACBA 4, and pressure is on for the participants to send off a high note. Fortunato and Fazliov have done everything they can to set themselves up for success to advance in the next round.
