San Leandro, CA – Skate Video Reviews: Ace Pelka Grabs This Year Early

    Press play and you begin to think that this video part is going to head in the same direction as 2020… theres confrontation and someone falling off a roof. But then… Ace Pelka starts a part that made me smile, cheer, ooh, aww, and even laugh! 

Ace Pelka “Creative Control” Part was one of the opening parts dropped so far this year on Thrasher and the title says it all. It’s beyond creative and shows his absolute control over his skateboard and the terrain around him. Ace is one of themost creative and ingenious skateboarders out today. His style is a mixture of old school, new school, stuff you can’t even really name and trick combos you would never even think of. All of these equate to one good video part to watch.

Ace starts out with a wallride to roof drop then proceeds immediately to a crazy long boardslide to hippie jump back to boardslide then loops around for another boardslide… and we’re only on his second trick. The video continues to melt your face with extremely long slides, slappy’s and grinds. He valantly displays his transition ability while mixing an old school flavor that would even make Rodney smile. 

Skating the unskateable and shutting down small spots with big bangers, Ace Pelka starts the year off very well. The part was packed full of wallrides, early grabs, and hurdles that would get you qualified for the Olympics! A definite can’t miss part!
