Brookshire, TX – Medical Office Monument Sign Update | Front Row Sign News

Not all signs are created equal. What seemed like a good idea at the time may turn out to be an eyesore. Maybe it was the color combination or the message is now irrelevant or changed. Maybe the company who built the sign used poor workmanship or inferior materials. You do not have to live with a sign you hate. There may be an option to update it with new paint, graphics, or a re-face. We get excited when we can offer suggestions to a client for a new sign that we don’t actually have to replace. We pride ourselves in offering real solutions to our clients based on their needs not based on our profit. Let’s take a look what we offered to Brookshire Family Practice.

Our client’s existing monument sign was in bad shape. The message needed changing, the colors updating, pieces were bent and missing and all within budget. Our 1st step was to perform a site survey to assess what we could keep and what needed replacing. We determined that the lighting and electrical components were ok but the existing acrylics needed replacing. The client decided to paint the base to match the color of the office exterior that was refreshed already. Next was to create an updated crisp design. Colors matching their branding and text representing only what was the most important facts are always a good choice. They were on a very busy road so the message must be clear, easy to read and express the message concisely for good visibility.

Time to put it all together! We purchased 3/16″ thick white acrylic sheets and cut them down to 36″W x 38.5″H for both sides of the monument sign. We used 3M 40C clear for the digital print vinyl and 3M 8508 for the gloss laminate. The client decided to create the design themselves. Once ready, they sent us the print ready file. We use an HP 360 Latex Printer and Royal Sovereign Laminator. After trimming down the prints to the appropriate size, we applied to each side of the acrylics. Once the base of the monument was painted, we removed the old acrylics and replaced with the new ones. The client loved the new modern look incorporating the new branding and the updated message.
