Garden Tea Party Wedding Inspiration at Pomarius Nursery in Portland Oregon
Posted in: Industry News
For this Garden Tea Party styled shoot, I got to work with some fabulous Portland wedding vendors!
We married tradition to trend with a classic tea party in an urban nursery full of lush greenery and exotic plants in Portland’s NW industrial area. Our color palette was pinks and purples. Something Borrowed event styling set an intimate bride and groom’s table with teacups, antique china, gold silverware and a sequin tablecloth. Hand painted invitations and floral place cards by Rachel Jacobson Calligraphy added a whimsical touch. We used organic desserts from Sweetheart bakery, including Passionfruit Vanilla Bean Cream Puffs with Hibiscus Rose Frosting and Grapefruit Pistachio Halva Tarts with Strawberry-fig Jam. Our bride wore a lace and chiffon Claire LaFaye gown and held Zest Floral Design bouquet. Renee Bruhn did fingerwaves swept into a low side ponytail for our bride’s hair, and pinned it with antique jewelry handmade by Cottage Queens. A clean face with pink cheeks and lips offset by dramatic eyes completed the bride’s look. Pomarius Nursery was the perfect location to capture our inspiration!
