New Office? Consider a New Lobby Sign (Project: BAIRD Orthodontics) – Pleasanton, CA

Moving to a new office?

If you’re moving your business to a new office, building, or other location, a new sign can really help to give the space a noticeable facelift or finishing touch.  Recently, we were contacted by a client because they were moving to a brand new office and wanted a top of the line lobby sign to match.

Customer:  BAIRD Orthodontics – Pleasanton, CA

Customer Bio:  BAIRD Orthodontics is a new business here in Pleasanton.  Marta Baird, D.D.S, M.S.D., is a  Board Certified Orthodontist.

The Kohan Group, a well-recognized design and consulting firm specializing in healthcare offices, was brought in to design their new office.  After they were finished with most of the office, we were called in to install the lobby sign.

In the image above, you can see their lobby sign installed in their new office, with a close-up image below.  The new office design goals were to provide a modern, yet comfortable atmosphere, so we knew it was important to make sure the lobby sign matched the same aesthetics.

To make sure the end result turns out properly, we often communicate and work with our clients, as well as contractors like the Kohan Group.  We’ve found this is the only way to ensure that the signage comes out perfectly.

After reviewing a a few sign options, we ended up going with a brushed silver face with reverse cut-out letters that were then mounted with standoff studs and screws.  The reverse cut-out, which creates negative space with their name, allows the color of the turquoise blue wall to show through.  In addition, we added a polished silver logo brace to put the finishing touches on the sign.
