Robert’s 17” Asus laptop was giving him several problems. At times, it would shut down with no indication, even when it was plugged into the charger. The battery meter gave no warning and would cause our client to lose whatever they were working on. After some trial and error, we figured out that the hard drive was failing, in addition to the computer being infected with harmful viruses and malware.

Now that the problems were diagnosed, we began to implement our solution. We “cloned” or copied images from his outdated Seagate hard drive to a brand new Western Digital Media hard drive. We installed the new drive and removed all the malware and viruses that were bogging down the computer and causing it to suddenly shut down.

Now, our clients’ Asus works great now! All of the original programs, photos, and other files were fully recovered and reinstalled. The laptop no longer randomly shuts down and it operates completely normally. Robert was ecstatic to not only have his computer back with all of his pictures, but he was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly it runs.
