Partial Vehicle Wrap for Flood Medics in Pineville, NC

Posted in: Client Examples

I received a call last week from Albert C. in Pineville, NC, because he had a problem. One of his employees had blown the engine in one of his work vans and so he had to purchase another one. The new van was going to need to be partially wrapped to match the rest of his vehicles. This article covers the project and includes pictures of the van with the graphics on it.

In the image on the left, you can see a picture of the van after the graphics were installed, for Flood Medics. The van is a 2006 model, but the paint was in excellent condition because the previous owner had a full wrap on the van. This protected the paint from the sun and other elements. This is one of many benefits on having a wrap put onto your vehicle. Here at Eagle Signs and Graphics we only use 3m products for vehicle wraps. This is due to the quality of the wrap, but also for the ease of removal of the wrap once you either want to sell the vehicle, as in this case, or if you want to change the design.

We have been working with Flood Medics, which is located in Pineville, NC, for a couple years now, helping them to keep the look of their vehicles consistent. Flood Medics is a family owned business that prides themselves on quality of workmanship. They work long hours to ensure any water damage that you might have is taken care of and your house is back to better then original condition.  Flood Medics stand behind every project they work on and ensure complete satisfaction of their work.

To create this design, we utilized the artwork from the smaller vehicles and then carefully, stretched it out without loosing the quality of the image. We then printed this onto 3m IJ180 film, which is one of the best vinyls on the market. This film conforms well to the contours of the vehicle and will last for many years to come. Once printed, we then laminate the film to give it some added protection from scrapes and chips. Once this was printed and laminated, we then brought the van into our climate controlled area to install the wrap. This is important, because you don’t want to try and install a wrap outdoors if possible, because if it is too cold, the material will not adhere well, and if it is too warm, then the material will stretch unevenly. So having a climate controlled area to install a vehicle wrap is very important.
