Business sign made out of aluminum and vinyl, in Albemarle, NC for a spritual reader and adviser

Well, last week I installed the largest sign to date for Eagle Signs and Graphics. This sign was 10′ x 10′ and had many challenges to go with it. The first challenge was placing the vinyl onto the metal material. This was more then one person could handle, so I had to get my wife to help me. After laying the vinyl, we then had to lay the lettering for the actual sign itself. This was a little easier and went smoothly. Next we loaded everything into the truck and drove about an hour away to install the sign. Once we got to the location we encountered our second issue, the placement of the sign. It turns out the this sign was to be installed about 20′ in the air and all we brought with us was a step ladder. Obviously this was not going to be tall enough, so we rented a scissor lift to get us to the height we needed. About half way thru the project the lift decided to quit working and so we called it a night. Then after installing the sign the owner tells me that the letters are not large enough. So before heading back up on the second day, I made the phone number larger and went back up to finish it up and explain to the owner that if we make the text “bold” then it would all run together. This would not be acceptable, so the owner then changes what is written on the sign and we make the letters larger. This involves another trip to the property to install the new lettering and another rental of the scissor lift. Once the new lettering was up, all was good and the customer was happy.
